INFORMATION ABOUT THE FIELD OF STUDY

A graduate of the second degree program has, in addition to general knowledge in the physical sciences, specialist knowledge that allows to define and solve physical problems, both standard and non-standard. The graduate is able to use specialist literature of a scientific and technical nature.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

A graduate of each specialization is prepared to undertake self-education activities, which facilitates his/her adaptation to dynamic changes in the job market.

Admission to second degree studies is restricted to persons who hold the title of master degree (MSc), engineer, bachelor’s degree (BSc) or equivalent.

The candidates are admitted according to the ranking list based on the adjusted score indicated on the completed studies diploma and the compatibility or relativity of completed studies with the selected second degree course.

A first degree course is compatible with the selected second degree course if it is the same type of course (with the licencjat (BSc), engineer or equivalent title).

A first degree course is relative to the selected second degree course if it is a different type of course.

The following courses are considered relative:

to the physics course, courses: technical physics, astronomy, mathematics, computer studies, electrical engineering,
to the astronomy course, courses: physics, technical physics.
