Programme Description

Our graduates are prepared to work as a professional staff member at EU institutions and other international organizations as well as local and national government. They serve as leaders of the change in their local communities, helping in promoting the idea of European integration and making the best use of the European funds. The European Union Law program also prepare for work in private enterprises in Poland and throughout Europe (Specialization “Business Law”) or to be involved in diplomatic service with the strong focus on protection Human Rights and migration policy (Specialization “Diplomacy”).

The course is designed by our highly-qualified academic staff in cooperation with representatives of the administrative staff of the EU institutions, representatives of diplomatic institutions and consulates, lawyers and law advisors. Their presence guarantees that the course programme meets the factual demands as regards education and employability of specialists in the field of EU law.

Students complete mandatory 60 hours of practice. The strong cooperation with both national and International institutions leads to many opportunities for European Studies students to get placement or internship at organizations across the public and private sectors, e.g. the European Parliament, the European Commission Representation Office in Warsaw, Representation of European Commission in Warsaw, the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, unites of the central and local government, the EU Funds departments, the Rule of Law Institute Foundation and other non-governmental organizations. Students also can participate in the Erasmus Exchange Program taking advantage of various study abroad opportunities.

Professional skills:

the graduates are fluent in areas that are a key part of European legal regulations. They become specialists in the scope of European problems and acquire professional skills that are demanded on the European labour market
the programme offers two specialisations: economic and diplomatic
students can also obtain certificates from EU Diplomacy Academy, European Academy of Competition Law, EU Funds Academy

Admission Requirements

  • BA diploma in European Studies (has priority) or BA/MA diploma in Administration, Politology, Sociology, International Relations, Economics, Journalism, Law, Philosophy, Social Communication or in other related fields of study.

Admission on the basis of the final grade for the diploma examination.
