Art and design

SWPS University’s School of Form offers a four-year undergraduate program in Design. Our study program combines practical skills, honed in our workshops, with theoretical background and tools of social sciences and humanities. Our goal is to shape designers of the future, creative thinkers, imaginative pragmatists, responsible designers, who, from the very beginning, will start searching for novel solutions to create a better world. 

During their studies, students carry out individual and team projects based on knowledge of design and craftsmanship, also in cooperation with the social and business environment of the university. Students use professional equipment, tools and machines available in studios and workshops.

One of the recruitment conditions is a positively completed entrance exam, i.e. an interview in English based on a prepared portfolio. More information about the portfolio here: https://www.sof.edu.pl/en/application/portfolio 

Although students are admitted to SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities at the beginning of each academic year, applications are accepted on a regular basis from January 26th until the end of August. Prospective applicants are encouraged to apply for admission well in advance of the beginning of each academic year, as class size remains limited.

Applications are reviewed by the Admissions Committee and candidates are notified in writing about the final decision. Admitted candidates receive an official acceptance letter.
