Civilian full-time and extramural first degree courses offer the following specialisations:

• safety and security of airports,
• aviation security management,
• protection of persons and property,
• crisis management.

Civilian full-time and extramural second degree courses offer the following specialisations:

• safety and security of airports,
• security management in aviation organisations.

The field of study provides training in the area of basic social and legal safety, state security and defence, safety and security in aviation, including the safety and security of airports and security management in aviation organisations. Students of National Security gain the knowledge and skills necessary to work in the field of state air safety.

The training programme in the National Security department is mainly based on subjects related to aviation security and protection, including among others:

• airports – safety procedures, flight safety and aviation security, the functioning of civil and state aviation,
• air traffic – air traffic management and safety, air services and airport services, flight and airport rescue.
