Programme Description

Mechatronics is a multidisciplinary field that combines mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering with systems and control engineering. The demand for mechatronics engineers is rapidly increasing as the world becomes increasingly automated and the need for complex technical devices rises. The mechatronics curriculum is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in mechanics, electronic control systems, computer science, and computer-aided design tools, preparing them for the roles of designer, manufacturer, and operator of complex technical devices.

The degree program offers a comprehensive education meeting international standards and requirements, providing students with up-to-date engineering knowledge in designing, manufacturing, and operating technical equipment and systems characterized by complex structures. These structures can be realized by mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, micromechanical, electromechanical, electrical, and optical assemblies, along with a control system based on microprocessor technology.

ย

The didactic process is organized so that great importance is given to teaching by example. The faculty emphasizes practical knowledge that will allow students to realize the design of a specific device and its teamwork. Students also have the opportunity to specialize in various areas of mechatronics, including robotics, automation, and control systems.

The mechatronics program is not just about learning theories and concepts. Students are also given the opportunity to apply their knowledge in various projects and research activities. Projects such as designing and constructing an automated vehicle or a robotic arm for industrial applications help students gain valuable hands-on experience and prepare them for the real-world challenges they will face in their careers.

One unique path offered within the Mechatronics field of study is weapons technology. This path focuses on designing and developing advanced weapons systems, including small arms, artillery, and missiles. Students who choose this path have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that contribute to the development of national defense capabilities.
