Premedical Course aims to meet the needs of high school graduates who wish to pursue a medical education but who have taken few of the core science courses required for successful preparation to medical school. It lasts from the beginning of October 2023 to the end of May 2024 and is divided into two semesters.

Graduation of Premedical Course gives participant an opportunity to be accepted for the 6-year M.D. programme at the Medical University of Gdansk in academic year 2024/2025.

Candidates for the Premedical Course should:

• register and fill in on-line application form for Premedical Course in electronic candidate database (admission2023.mug.edu.pl)
• submit complete required documents by regular mail to the Admissions Office at the MUG between 15th of April 2023 and 31st of August 2023. These are:
  • ​singed application form in English and Polish language (printed from the electronic candidates database available at: admission2023.mug.edu.pl)
  • a copy of High School Diploma or its equivalent with grade transcript – the comission will review scores in biology and one selected subject: chemistry, physics or mathematics or relevant subjects
  • an English translation of the aforementioned document
  • passport copy 
  • English language certificate.
