Green technologies and monitoring

The aim of the program is to provide students with current, advanced knowledge in the field of designing and supervising environmentally friendly technologies, applying waste-free technologies, using eco-friendly, renewable energy sources, designing waste-free technologies, providing expert opinions on the harmfulness of technologies already in operation to the environment, managing a laboratory, performing analyses to determine typical environmental pollutants, as well as developing the ability to write scientific texts and grant projects. Within the second-cycle program, there will be a strong emphasis on the applied nature of knowledge gained during the first-cycle program.

 

Career opportunities

• Any laboratory-based employment, such as laboratory technician/assistant. Any work in any environmental regulatory bodies, or government agencies.
• As a chemical engineer or process engineer the prospective student will find work in industry in the planning, control and construction of processes. Also in industry, the student may find work in quality control, quality management
